Family Promise
Family Promise is a nonprofit organization committed to helping low-income families achieve lasting independence.
The problem of poverty is complex. It won’t yield to a simple solution or a quick fix. It requires an integrated approach that begins with meeting immediate needs but reaches much further to help people achieve independence and to alleviate the root causes of poverty. Pine Steet in partnership with other area churches offers a place of shelter, and other family assistance in rotation. See more at FamilyPromise.org
Women's Fellowship
United Women in Faith – Pat Wittig
The UMW meets the third Wednesday of each month at 1:30 pm in the Narthex. Other meeting times are posted in the monthly church newsletter, the Pine Needle.
